San Isidro Labrador
On May 15 the traditional procession in honor of San Isidro Labrador, Patron of Estepona, is celebrated, in which crowds of people dressed in the typical country costume parade, accompanying the Saint on his journey through the typical Estepona streets, decked out for the chance. With a great agricultural and livestock tradition, for five days the entire town turns to the streets, producing a twinning between citizens and peasants. Parallel to the Fair, a series of cattle competitions, country soup tastings, wine competitions, shooting contests, wild bird exhibitions, horse riding and dressage exhibitions, ax and motorcycle handling competitions, activities all take place. they are directly related to the jobs and skills of rural people.
