Visitors will find white painted houses and extensive olive groves to enjoy in this village. The olive groves are surrounded by many typical rural houses. Agrarian activity has taken place in this area for centuries.

Villanueva de Algaidas, known as ‘La Rincona’ by the old people of the village, still has a lively folklore tradition as well as historical remains of its past. The birthplace of the famous sculptor Miguel Berrocal contains many of his works.

Its landscape has soft hills and small groups of holm oak trees on the slopes.
