The Museum of Tattoos "El Templo"

Devoted to the art of skin decoration, this claims to be the first tattoo museum in Spain. Lucas, the mad tattooist, has been in the tattoo business since 1972, travelling the world in search of tattoo-related relics. In recent years, Lucas and Linda, also a tattooist, have met a whole host of fine artists such as Lionel Tichener (Great Britain), Henk or Hanky Panky (the Netherlands), Lyle Tuttle (U.S.A.) and Ron Ackers (Great Britain), all of whom have devoted their whole lives to studying the history and origins of the art of tattooing. In 2000, Lucas and Linda finally opened their own museum with the aim of informing the public about the oldest profession in the world and meeting others who share their interest.

The collection consists of all manner of utensils and books, old and modern, as well as a wealth of patterns, designs and sketches used in their art.
