Church of Inmaculada Concepción

Diputación de Málaga

Church of Inmaculada Concepción

Built in the 16th century. It has Latin cross floor layout and a wooden panelled ceiling in the transept. The Mudejar tower has half round arches on the upper belfry tier and it is covered by a four-sided sloping tiled roof.

On the inside, there is an fully dressed image of the Virgin Mary named the “Dolorosa” from the 18th century and a polychrome sculpture of San Pascual Bailón, by Adrián Risueño, which is a copy of the original by Pedro de Mena from Malaga’s cathedral.
