Zambra Tower
Situated some four kilometres from the village near to the old Camino Real de Málaga. This is a Arab watchtower built in the 13th century.
Not only is it an invaluable piece of cultural heritage, but its privileged position also turns it into a fantastic vantage point from which visitors can get spectacular views of the varied and panoramic landscape common to the province of Malaga, part of Granada and the northern tip of Africa. Many famous writers, such as Cervantes or Vicente Espinel, have been captivated by this place and have mentioned it in their books. The path up to the Torre Zambra set off at the Ermita del Chorro on the ancient road that linked Casabermeja with Malaga.
