Church of San Jacinto
This church was built for the second time in the 18Ith century on site of another monument built in 1505 on the order of the archbishop of Seville Diego Leza and before the founding of the village itself which was started in 1572. It was rebuilt some two centuries later under the supervision of Josê Ortega Monroy and Miguel del Castillo.
The church has a Latin cross floor plan with only one nave with an outstanding elevated, silver transept. The main interior faèade and the crypt, which is a pantheon underneath the church where there are statues of the Galvez family as the most important members of the village during the 18th century, are worthy of special attention inside.
