Our Lady of the Rosary Church (and the Holy Christ of Mercy)
This church’s origin is unknown, although a quick look at the inscription on the door will clear up any mystery as it clearly states that it was built in 1861.
It is thought that it was a chapel at first, at least that is what is documented on 16th June 1722. It also says that it was used as such up until 1795. Although the image of Cristo de la Misericordia is venerated there, the locals have also placed an image of the patron saint of the village; the Virgen del Rosario and today they both share the space and the dedication of the locals.
The front is has a large pediment set within pillars and a square one-tiered tower. This tower is topped off with an arched belfry, and some religious images are kept on the incide of it.
