The Iglesia Parroquial de San Sebastián, originally built in the 15th century, had to be rebuilt in the 18th century following an earthquake. Its baroque main faèade, flanked by buttresses and built from masonry and brick, and the slender bell gable that crown it date back to the latter period and are the source of its immense architectural value. It features a small cloister adjoining the church. The interior is divided into three naves covered by half-barrel vaults. One of these has a small niche which houses the image of the town’s patron saint, the Virgen de Cañosantos. The highlight of the exterior is the brick tower topped with plasterwork featuring geometrical designs.
