Church of Our Lady of la Expectación
A church built in the 16th century and subsequently rebuilt in the 18th century, this building features a quadrangular ground plan which gives it a substantial presence that is reinforced by its enormous two-level tower, still in a fine state of repair, and its masonry.
Inside, it is divided into three naves marked out by pillars crowned with lowered Roman arches. Near the entrance, the choir stands on two columns which support two lowered arches. The ceiling is covered by a crosspiece framework in the central nave and a hanging structure in its lateral counterparts. The highlight of the exterior is the square tower which still retains well-preserved elements of the original 16th century design.
