Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions
The Museum is located in the town square, in the same building that is also home to a tourist information office and the Casa de la Cultura.
On display in this old house, which recreates the atmosphere of those of the early XIX century, are the agricultural tools once used by local farmers. This exhibition is housed in 5 rooms: the dining room, which is a reproduction of contemporary family life; the kitchen, which contains old utensils; the bedroom, with an iron bed, wooden cot, a missal dating back to 1864 and a carved wooden jewellery box; the oil room, with its old Arabic and Roman oil presses and lamps; and the country room, containing items used in agriculture and for kneading dough.
In addition, the house serves as a exhibition and sales point for local handicrafts as well as displaying photographs taken in the 50s.
