The Upper Square and the house of Hidalgo Fernández Villamor
This is the highest square in the town and home to its most distinguished houses, the one-time Casa de la Inquisición and the Casa del Hidalgo Fernández Villamor.
Dating back to the XVI century, this noble residence was built in the style of a small palace which, until as late as the mid XX, century, was entered via an enormous staircase, which has now been modified. The highlight of the exterior is the main faèade, the grilles and its typically-Andalusian whitewashed exterior.
