El Tajo I Via Ferrata, Ronda. Serranía de Ronda

In general, this is not a very technical Via Ferrata. Nevertheless, a small but though overhand will be found in the first stretch and that is the reason why it is generally classified as difficult. Moreover, in the second stretch, a less tough overhand is also found.

You can park your car in the pebbled path which descends to the ancient mills Molinos del Tajo from the neighbourhood de San Francisco in Ronda. Any side of the path close to the Puerta del Viento, an Arab entrance, where you can leave your car. Then you will have to walk through this gate and along the wall Muralla de Albacara towards the gate Puerta de Cristo or Puerta de los Molinos. You will need to go through this gate and walk down the narrow path in the direction of the Molinos. This path takes you close to the river Río Guadalevín. You will finally fi nd a path on the right side which goes up towards the walls of the Via Ferrata.

Follow the right side of the path, and you will reach the Old Town of Ronda towards the Molinos and Puerta del Viento.
