Playa de las Chapas is located in the Malaga town of Marbella, in the east side of its coastline. A beach with an ambiance and glamour present in the surrounding clubs, including the popular Nikki Beach.

It stretches across 750 metres corresponding to the residential area of the same name, and is about 25 metres wide.

It is one of the prettiest and most famous beaches in Marbella. That popularity does not affect, however, its tranquillity. Playa de Las Chapas is usually not too busy, which makes it even more special. Although the numbers do increase in peak periods, the average occupancy rate is maintained throughout the year.

Quite a large number of restaurants and high-quality establishments are located in this part of the coast as well as beach clubs, whose model of leisure, entertainment and glamour finds its most spectacular version in Marbella.

The famous Nikki Beach is located in this area. This is a fabulous space where you can simultaneously enjoy great music, the best food, entertainment, magic of the world of fashion and artistic expressions. All this on the beach facing the Mediterranean. Nikki Beach chose Marbella as one of the best tourist destinations in the world. This revolutionary notion of being ‘local’ is present in other exclusive places like Miami Beach or Saint Tropez.

DIRECTIONS

From the centre of Marbella, it takes you just 10 minutes to reach playa de Las Chapas whether you are driving on the N-340 or the A-7. There is also a city bus line from Marbella with a stop near the beach: the line L7.

If you're leaving from Malaga you can take the AP-7 or the A-7, which will take between 50 and 55 minutes.
