The Ferrara beach, in Torrox, is a wide beach of fine black sand and moderate waves of 1,200 meters long and 30 wide, relatively busy, especially in the summer months and lined by a charming seaside promenade. It is very near to Faro and totally incorporated in the natural rhythm of the town, being an urban beach. This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag 2021.

The Costa del Sol has numerous beaches awarded with the quality known as Blue Flag and Ferrara beach is one of them. It offers family leisure, sport, sun, culture and gastronomy which is so extensive that it is very difficult to visit the Costa del Sol without thinking about returning. Torrox is one of those areas which is full of charm and good weather to discover and rediscover.

HOW TO GET THERE

In the highway of Mediterráneo (A-7; N-340), between the stretch Vélez-Málaga and Nerja, there is a clearly indicated deviation towards Torrox, where you can reach directly and without taking any other highway.

It is very difficult to reach Ferrara beach. Following the famous Highway of Mediterráneo (undoubtedly your great partner if you decide to visit the Costa del Sol), also known as A7, in the stretch between Vélez-Málaga and Nerja, it is easy to find the deviation towards Torrox.

From Torrox, you won’t get lost finding the Ferrara beach, being a clearly urban beach.
