The San Pedro de Alcántara beach belongs to the Malaga municipality of Marbella. It is located halfway between the spectacular town of Marbella and the beautiful town of Estepona.
The San Pedro de Alcántara beach is considered one of the quietest in the area. Dark sand and gravel, the beach has a unique eucalyptus trees, which juts out almost to the shore itself, and a number of palm trees that adorn its beautiful esplanade.
Among the palm trees, we can distinguish a curious visitor: a sculpture of a life-size elephant happily treading the beach. As expected, this elephant has become one of the most popular elements of the beach and the most photographed by its visitors.
The San Pedro de Alcántara beach has an area of ??1,400 meters long and 35 meters wide. A formidable beach whose virtues have earned it the award of Blue Flag for 24 years. As it has again received the Q for tourism quality, clear symbols of good health of this beach.
