Parajes en Iznate
The landscape around the village is made up a series of hills which run, in the main, from Southeast to Northeast, with the most prominent being the 463 metre high Cerro del Melonar, which is right on the municipal boundary with Vêlez-Málaga. The Rîo Iznate is born at the "Pozas de Tejero" and runs into the Rîo Almáchar. The river itself is fed by a lot of small steams that run into it off the hills like; la Cañada de los Almencinos, Noguera, La Noria y la Cañada de los Campos. La Fuente Noguera, or Moguera. It is the most important of the seven waterways that the village has and it is situated at about 400 metres outside the village.
