The Conde de Guadalhorce reservoir is located in the municipality of Ardales and feeds on the Ardales River.

It is a type of gravity dam whose construction was completed in 1921. Its surface covers 546 hectares and its capacity is 66 hm3.

This swamp was awarded the Blue Flag in 2021, but lost it in 2022 due to lack of water.
