Parque de la Muralla
Located in the upper part of the town, it is surrounded by a wealth of infrastructure and other features that ensure a pleasant walk. One of the park’s main attractions is the opportunity to take what is known as the Wall route. This is a pathway through a series of flowers, pines and bushes that show off the very best of Mijas’ flora and also its fauna, as peacocks, ducks and hens will all surprise the visitor along the way.
The route finishes at a railed viewpoint that affords spectacular views of the Mijas landscape. The mountains, sky and sea create a kaleidoscope of shapes and colours.
The park also features a natural stone waterfall some 15 metres high featuring night- time illumination and a synchronised water feature that dances to the rhythm of the music.
