El Chaparral beach belongs to the town of Mijas Malaga. Being one of the longest beaches of the town, it has a length of 4,400 meters and about 12 meters of average width. The beach El Chaparral is characterized by moderate waves and dark sand, in which in some rocky areas are distinguished.

In 2010 part of the extension was rated as nude beach. It has an average occupancy level and is ideal for windsurfing, sailing and diving.

Mijas, town in which it is located, has a large coastline where the combination of beach, sun and nature provide a pleasant experience complemented by the cuisine.

HOW TO GET THERE

You can access El Chaparral beach through several routes.

From Mijas, in car, we recommend taking the highway of Mijas-Fuengirola and A-7 until the exit Cala de Mijas and, subsequently, go in direction Boulevard de la Cala. The estimated time is of 20 minutes approximately.

From Málaga capital, the most feasible option is through AP-7 until the exit Cala de Mijas, the estimated journey time being approximately 40 minutes.
