Canoeing: Benaoján Train Station - Jimera de Líbar Train Station Seranía de Ronda
The Guadiaro River gets water from the Guadares, which comes out of the Gato Cave at the Benaoján Train Station,. Few metres away, in Estación de Benaoján neighbourhood, which is next to the train station, you can sea the stream that runs from source of the river Cascajales, so the water level is high enough to sail throughout the year.
In this neighbourhood you can get into the water with your boat, at the small dam called Charco de la Barranca or Barranca Pond. From this spot to the Canoeing Centre, many rapids, obstacles and narrow sections of the river start appearing, surrounded by lush riverside vegetation Wagons at Jimera de Líbar Train Station
