Restaurante Bohemia (Distinguished Establishments)
The Restaurant Bohemia started in 1991 in a small premise in Coin (in the Valle del Azahar, inland of the Costa del Sol), a village surrounded by small hills and orchards of fruit trees, only 20 kilometres from the towns of Marbella, Mijas and Malaga. In 1996, it was installed in an old house of the 19th century, typical of the area. Here, it was consolidated and increased its clientele. In 2003 a new restaurant was settled.
Restaurant Bohemia is based on the recovery and recycling of old furniture and materials (carpentry, grills, moorish tiles etc.) of the local architecture of the beginning of the twentieth century.
The objective is to create a cosy and peaceful atmosphere where clients can feel at home.
The gastronomic offer is based on local products with an innovative attitude in their makeup, presentation and service. The restaurant has various dining rooms, with a good atmosphere, keeping the old style, subtly showing local craftsmanship by local artisan friends. As an example, the bulrush chairs painted in oil by a great local friend Anette Delataille, decorated with landscapes and details of Coin.
The restaurant has a weaving workshop, where the owner weaves its Andalusian style tapestries, offering the clients an agreeable time. The restaurant has an ample wine cellar and a great selection of wines, kept under the best conditions of humidity and temperature.
In winter clients enjoys a fireplace and in summer a large typical patio of Coin, with plenty of light and fresh, for a quite and lovely dinners.
