Restaurant of the Hotel Cueva del Gato (Unique Establishments)
This restaurant is the part of the Hotel la Cueva del Gato, a new building that perfectly fits in the environment, and looks after the details in order to offer a maximum comfort and highest quality service. The building is manly made of stone, which protects the inside of the hotel from the bad weather conditions.
The restaurant is excellently placed in the lower part of the hotel, and serves buffet breakfast, which includes home-made jams, zurrapa (fried pork loin, chopped and mixed with fat) from this area or other types of its typical cold meats; and Mediterranean dinner based on local fresh products. The starters include ham and ranch-style fried eggs; scrambled eggs with potatoes or creamy courgette soup. The main course list consists of pork sirloin with crystallized fruit, Iberian beef filet, roast pork with onion sauce, or grilled cod with almond sauce. There is a vast cellar with the best Spanish wines and an excellent customer service.
The restaurant is on the Benaojan-Ronda Road in the Province of Malaga.
