Expo Arte Cofrade. Bobadilla (Antequera)
"Expo Arte Cofrade" is a temporary exhibition of heritage of “Hermandades” (brotherhoods) and brotherhoods of passion and glory, mostly from the provinces of Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
Brotherhoods and Associations of towns such as Antequera, Alhaurín de la Torre, Bobadilla, Bobadilla Estación, Campillos, Humilladero, Villanueva del Trabuco, Cuevas de San Marcos, Cañete la Real, Carratraca, Sierra de Yeguas, Almogía, Málaga, Torremolinos, La Roda de Andalucía, Riogordo and Setenil de las Bodegas have passed through the stands of this Expo in the last 4 years.
Expo Arte Cofrade is a Cofrade Fair where artists, professional workshops, and artisans from almost the entire Andalusian geography show their work, putting it in value.
Professionals from Albacete, Alcalá de Guadaira, Alcaudete, Alicante, Antequera, Cabra, Campillos, Carmona, Chiclana de la Frontera, Granada, Malaga, La Rinconada, La Roda de Andalucía, Lucena, Motril, Puente Genil, Seville, Jaén, Vélez- Málaga, Villanueva del Río, Minas, Murcia and Santander exhibit their articles, their art and culture in its stands.
Expo Arte Cofrade is a Musical Contest, in which wonderful Malaga music bands have contributed with their sounds to the excellence of the Cofrade Fair.
The exhibition is spread over 1,100 square meters spread over more than 85 exhibitors, with more than 40 stands for workshops, artisans, artists and professionals. The exhibition area (Sports Hall) is characterized as a brotherhood town. Three streets, a church (cardboard-stone), each stand is a house, decorated balconies,… Interviews, presentations, lectures and round tables are held throughout the event.
