On August 15 the procession in honor of Santa María de los Remedios takes place, through the streets of Estepona. The Brotherhood of Santa María de los Remedios, in the previous days, organizes a series of events in honor of the ancient Patroness of Estepona, ranging from a popular Verbena, a Marian Exaltation to the Virgin, a triduum in the canonical see, a traditional hand kissing, to end with the long-awaited procession, which starts from the church of the same name, located in the heart of the old town, and which runs through the most emblematic streets of the town, accompanied by the musical group "Virgen de Los Remedios" . The inhabitants of the municipality mix with the tourists and visitors who have chosen our municipality to spend their holidays, in an atmosphere full of faith and celebration.
