Square of flowers
A cozy and happy square in the old town, where you can enjoy a drink or the typical tapas. In it is the Casa de las Tejerinas, which currently houses the Tourist Office and houses different art collections.
Estepona's urban planning during the 19th century was marked by the expansion to the east, along the road to Malaga, on both banks of the Calancha River. This extension of the villa is equipped with a large plaza, in which the most important houses in Estepona until that moment are built. During its history it has changed its name several times, from the original one in Plaza de la Constitución, to Plaza del Rey, de la Cárcel, José Antonio, Nueva or de las Flores, as it is known today. Today it is a large pedestrian plaza, the center of Estepona life, 19th century houses, a large central fountain and, above all, a garden full of the flowers that give it its name.
