This ecological beauty spot has volcanic peridotite kind of soil, with iron minerals that become red when they get in touch with the air.
The view is breathtaking. In the east, there is the Guadalhorce Valley and the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park with Torrecilla massif. To the south, the viewpoint faces the Canucha Mountains with Los Cuchillos Top. In the north, you will see the Prieta and Cabrilla mountains and Alozaina at the bottom of them.
