From this exceptional viewpoint, you can admire most of  Western Costa del Sol: the City of Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Mijas, Fuengirola, Marbella, Málaga's Bay and the Sea of Alborán, as well as the part of the villages from the Guadalhorce Valley.

When it is sunny, it is possible to see even the Rock of Gibraltar, and the Rif Mountains from the North of Africa at the other side of the Strait of Gibraltar.

This attractive natural setting is famous in the Costa del Sol for its cable car, which goes from the centre of Benalmadena in Arroyo de la Miel to the top of the mountain.

You can also get to the top by road and different paths. Calamorro mountain was declared Natural Park which is close to the town, and the zone higher than 300m got protected.

At the top of the mountain, there are restaurants next to the cable car stop.

You can go hiking, climbing or mountain biking on many different trails that are available for doing sports in this area.
