Playa del Bombo is a beach located in Mijas, close to Cabopino Port in Marbella. With a length of 1,100 meters and a width of 20 meters, Bombo Beach has moderate waves and dark sand. Its occupancy rate is high. Swimming conditions are highly favourable, ideal for families. Furthermore, this beach is excellent for scuba diving due to the transparency of its waters.

The Blue Flag award it received in 2021 underlines its unquestionable quality. This award is based on environmental and educational criteria, water quality, environmental management, safety and services. It has also been awarded the "Q" tourist quality flag in 2016, a sign of high quality in the Spanish tourism sector.

HOW TO GET THERE

By car: From Mijas take the A-7 to Playa del Bombo. Estimated time only 15 minutes.

From the capital of Malaga take the AP-7 and then the A-7. Estimated time 35-40 minutes depending on traffic.
