Playa de Artola - Cabopino in the municipality of Marbella is one of the best beaches in the Costa del Sol. It is one of the beaches in Malaga where you can feel a special sense of freedom and connection with nature. The landscape, dotted with stunning sand dunes and delicate natural vegetation like sea narcissus or junipers, will not leave you indifferent.
Playa de Cabopino covers an area of 1,200 metres located in the Dunas de Artola, a valuable protected nature reserve in the heart of the Costa del Sol; in 2001, the Junta de Andalucía declared Artola Dunes Natural Monument.
With fine sand golden in colour, this spacious beach adjacent to Cabopino Marina it also has some stretches of nudist beach.
Playa de Cabopino flies the Blue Flag, award given by the European Foundation for Environmental Education according to quality criteria in four areas: environmental education and information, quality of the water, environmental management, safety and services. In addition, it has also received the Q for tourism quality.
In the area you can also visit places of great historical interest such as the Torre Ladrones, a defensive tower of Roman origin declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

If you go from the centre of Marbella and take the A7 motorway, you will be laying your towel on the sand on Cabopino in just 15 minutes.
If the starting point is the city of Malaga you will arrive at playa de Cabopino in 1 hour, taking the AP-7 or the A-7.
