Officially declared an Item of Cultural Interest, these terraced gardens are located in the Palacio del Rey Moro and are characterised by the constant presence of water in the shape of fountains and rivulets. They were designed and built in 1923 by the prestigious French architect and landscape gardener Forestier, who was commissioned for the purpose by the Duchess of Parcent. It stands on a number of different levels which are linked by flights of steps decorated with tiling and flanked by fountains and water lily-topped ponds.
