The eighth and the last stage of this motorcycle tour round the Province of Málaga starts in Benarrabá and ends in the Mountains of Málaga. The route, which is 246 km long, goes down Benarrabá to Estepona, joining with the Western Costa del Sol road, to the City of Málaga. Western Costa del Sol is the most important tourist destination in Spain. Mediterranean climate and good and warm weather provide us with 300 sunny days a year. This mild climate is caused by maritime breeze and the protection this coast gets from the mountain ranges that surround it.

On the other side, the Mountains of Málaga have an area of approximately 5, 000 ha covered in Mediterranean forests, placed between the Towns of Casabermeja and Málaga. The range has steep slopes and protuberances, and a rich water flow caused by rain torrents, which goes into the Guadalmedina River.

This stage has only one part.

The first and only part:
Benarrabá - Gaucîn - Casares - Estepona - Marbella - Cala de Mijas (Mijas Cove) - Fuengirola - Benalmádena - Torremolinos - Málaga – the Mountains of Málaga.

This project was developed in cooperation with Iberian Coast Route Ltd under the name of ‘Málaga Countryside Rider Tour’.

The beginning of the route consists of 9 stages, which go through all the towns and villages in the Province of Málaga. It is 1, 700 km long and covers more than 70 municipalities. Depending on the progress of the project, it is more than probable that there will be open another part which will go through many other municipalities. The route can be ridden in parts, each stage separately, or the entire at once for a period of 9 days. In the latter case, the way goes from the Mountains of Málaga to Málaga City. It is not necessary to visit the recommended hotels or restaurants and try their dishes if you do not wish so. You can go along the route on your own or follow the ‘guided tour’ with previous booking of hotels, restaurants or activities.
