Ochavada Square, incredible environment that this restaurant forms part of, is placed inside natural caves which were formerly used as a Mozarabic church, and they are officially considered Andalusian cultural heritage.
CHARACTERISTICS
Its cuisine is a fusion of traditional and creative cookery. The menu contains some original starters, varied salads, meat cooked on vegetal coal or home-made desserts. You will find a big variety of elaborated dishes, ranging from the Mediterranean and traditional ones to Asian, Indian or North-African food with a Málaga touch and deeply rooted local ingredients and preparations.
LOCATION
The restaurant is at the famous square called Plaza de Ochavada in Archidona (52 kilometres away from the City of Málaga), an extraordinary piece of the Andalusian architecture from the 18th century. It was built in 1786 by Antonio González Sevillano and Francisco Astorga Frías who recommended building an innovative octagonal Franch square.
