'Destination Málaga' is a programme that helps to promote modernization of Málaga as a tourist destination. This is the Málaga County Council's initiative in the collaboration with the Confederation of Employers from Málaga (Confederación de Empresarios de Málaga, CEM) and the University of Málaga (UMA). The aim of this action is economic recovery of the tourism in Málaga and building customer loyalty by introducing Destination Málaga tourist card.

The programme has three main strategic points:

• Building customer loyalty through Destination Málaga digital card and the advertising campaign that spreads the information about it together with €100 discount (in reward points) for the first 20,000 tourists that register.

• Help tourist companiesto become part of the programme and adapt to new forms of marketing based on cutting-edge technology.

• Make it easier to adapt to new tourism products in real time, which agree with tourist needs and the possibilities of this destination.
