The museum belongs to the local council and charges a small, symbolic entrance fee. The Museum is at the ground floor of the Town Hall. It is the starting point for a more detailed visit to natural and archaeological sites and heritage within Teba’s territory. In the early seventeenth century, the scholar Sevilla Rodrigo Caro describes in a place called "The Pilarejo", a Roman pedestal to the goddess Victoria Augusta. Since then, there have been happening a number of findings that testify to a unique historical legacy.
