Viewpoint in the Plaza Baja de la "Despedia", Álora

It has been recently created under the name of Cervantes as a tribute to the famous author's presence in these lands when working for the royal administration). This enclave is the headquarters of the Church of the Incarnation, the third largest in the province. The viewpoint has splendid views of a part of the Mount Hacho. From the Plaza Baja starts the Ancha Street, with a significant upward slope. Up in the Ancha street, the visitor find another viewpoint, called of Ben Ali Al Baezi Falcum. In this viewpoint it can be read the Romance “Alora, the well fenced”. Of unknown origin, tells the recapture of the town by the Christians, and is one of the oldest known.
