Church of Santiago Apóstol, Monda
Built in the 16th century, although it was restored many times in the 18th century. It has three naves and in the epistle nave the coffered ceiling is outstanding for the intricate decoration of the vault. The three naves are separated by columns joined together by half-round arches. The presbytery is covered by a hemispherical vault and the adjoining chapels are decorated with 18th century plasterwork.
The most outstanding feature on the exterior is, without doubt, the four-tiered tower which has half-round arches on the belfry tier. The facade comprises of a large half-round arch supported on two pilasters above which lies the upper floor which is presided over by a image of Santiago.
