El Chorro and the Wash-house, Istán

It can be considered as the most emblematic image in the village, situated in Calle Chorro, which is a particularly picturesque part of the village of white houses covered with bougainvillaea and roses, which makes this little spot in the village a must place to visit by all. The fountain has got six jets, which are fed by the ancient Arabic channels. The water flows onto the washing place that is decorated by brick arches and tiles( which is still used today) after the fountain.
