Arabic Tower (Torre Escalante), Istán

This tower, which of Arabic origin, is situated in the highest part of the village in Calle San Miguel. It was built in the 15th century and formed part of an ancient fortress. It has a cubic floor plan with layers of stones one upon another, arches and vaults. It has been declared as Good of Cultural Interest Today it is completely restored and surrounded by a charming garden.
