Laureates 2016. European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards
The European Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards was launched in 2002 by the European Commission and has been organised by Europa Nostra ever since.
A total of 426 outstanding heritage accomplishments have been recognised in the past 14 years. The Prize honours every year up to 30 remarkable heritage achievements from all parts of Europe. Seven are selected as Grand Prix laureates and one receives the Public Choice Award, chosen in an online poll. One of this seven Grand Prix is the King´s Little Pathway in the El Chorre gorge (Laureates 2016).
