Street map of Cuevas de San Marcos (in English)
Cuevas de San Marcos is located in The Subbêtica Malagueña Mountains in the western part of the region. This place was a settlement of Romans, Visigothics and Moslems in ancient times.
The area of white houses is located at the foot of La Falla del Camorro, declared a natural monument, surrounded by soft round hills, situated in the northern part by the Genil River.
Visitors can take a walk round the village and find interesting old houses and lovely streets. Moreover, in the vicinity of Cuevas de San Marcos, we can find the largest reservoir in Andalucia, The Iznajar Reservoir.
