Archidona is declared to be of historical and artistic interest. A town located on the lower slopes of the Sierra de Gracia, and surrounded by the Conjuro and Grajas Hills. From a distance, looking up, the visitor will see the remains of the walks of the Old Arabic Castle and the white hermitage of the patroness saint, the Virgen de Gracia, who gives her name to this mountain.

Tourists will find steep streets and white houses within this village, also great religious buildings, houses with coats of arms and squares. The Ochavada Square is considered to be an important example of the baroque style of architecture.
