Hermitage of Divino Pastor
The construction of this hermitage dates back to the XVIIIth century. It has a trapezoidal layout, which grabs peoples’ attention when they see it for the first time.
It is believed that it was once part of a convent belonging either to the Carmelitas or Franciscans.
It is built very much in a classic style combining Baroque and Andalusian architectural elements and was restored in 2001. The entrance is particularly worthy of mention with a half-pointed arch between simple Toscan-style columns. The most outstanding element on the inside is the glass painting of the Divino Pastor, which is probably from the XVIIIth century, along with the images of San Josê and the Divino Pastor.
