Standing some 500 metres from the village centre, this conical, almost cylindrical tower is popularly known as El Castillo and appears in the register of Items of Cultural Interest in Spain’s Historical Patrimony.

Now completely rebuilt and refurbished for use as a reception centre for visitors to the Parque Natural Sierra de las Nieves.
