Church of Our Lady of la Paz

This16th century building once served as a hermitage and a field hospital. It consists of a single nave and a square presbytery which are covered by a half-barrel vault and a dome with a smaller dome and lantern respectively, profusely decorated with plaster panelling.

Inside, it is home to a polychrome carving of El Cristo de la Sangre, by Duque Cornejo (18th century), the most important to be found in the town, and a 15th century dressed image of Nuetra Señora de la Paz, Ronda’s patron saint, holding a 18th century Baby Jesus in her arms.
