Our Lady of the Rosary Church
The Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario is the village’s most significant monument. It was built in the early 16th century and has since undergone a number of transformations, the most recent taking place in the 1940s.
The structure of the building would suggest that its original design featured three naves, though only one now remains. It is entered through a simple baroque doorway which is reached via a flight of steps due to the elevated level on which the church is built. Inside, we can admire 17th and 18th century sculptures such as the image of the Virgen del Rosario that occupies the central niche.
