DESCRIPTION

The design of this fountain was inspired in the levels and volume structure of the Fountain of the Three Graces, in Plaza de Torrijos.

Morilla and Ortega drew up the plans in 1959 and Adrîan Risueño, using stone from the Torcal region in Antequera, later sculpted the fountain. This fountain depicts three gypsies or female figures carrying fans and wearing typical Spanish flounced dresses.
