DESCRIPTION

This building is located in calle Carreterîa and was restored in 1987 to house the Provincial Women's Welfare Service.

It was built at the end of the 18th century and today it still conserves an austere white marble portico comprising boxed pilasters that support a simple balcony. Behind the railings at the end of the vestibule there is a patio that has a series of 18th century arches on marble columns around three of its sides, whilst to the left there is a classic white marble staircase with balustrade.

In the upper rooms some of the original ceilings have been conserved, as well as fireplaces and other interesting areas.
