So called in allusion to the marble sculptures that adorn it, depicting three protective fresh-water nymphs inspired by classical mythology. It is divided into three sections, the highlight being the central section comprising three female figures dressed in classical attire and bearing agricultural tools – a hoe and spikes –, an oar and a horn of abundance, as symbols of reproduction and fertility.
