Felix Saenz Houses
Two blocks of really spectacular houses, known as Felix Saenz Houses, were ordered to be built by this merchant from Malaga for rent, and as such are preserved.
Both blocks, dating from 1922 and due to the imagination of Fernando Guerrero Strachan, are structured in three floors, plus a lower floor and towers. The facades are articulated with inbound and outbound sides which are covered with different heights, causing flown pavilions, terraces, balconies and glazing windows.
This provides a wealth of color buildings, accentuated in the early hours of the morning and afternoon.
Very fond of historical reminiscences, Guerrero Strachan combined in the Fêlix Sáenz Houses the neo-Renaissance style (in the overall composition and decorative details) with the neomudejar style (in the use of materials and eaves flown).
