Located in the Abadîa de Santa Ana, near the Palacio de la Aduana, its aim is to

exhibit the rich patrimony that the Cistercian community has preserved over the centuries. The nuns who make up the congregation have left behind the baking tradition for which they were previously renowned in order to introduce the general public to a collection of religious art that includes paintings and sculptures of immense value as much for their antiquity and quality as for the fame of their creators, such as Pedro de Mena and his daughters, Andrea and Claudia, both of whom were Cistercian nuns. Of particular note is the collection of letters of profession, some dating back as far as 1605, written by nuns entering the order.
